Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My Finish is a lap size Popsicle Summer quilt, a fun churn dash variation.
This quilt was a Craftsy kit I bought several years ago on an amazing sale. It languished in my fabric closet until I listed it for sale as a made-to-order quilt in my Etsy shop. Nothing like getting a quilt finished because someone has purchased it!
I have recently seen a lot of the Bread Basket quilting design on quilts and thought it was so modern and gave great texture to the quilts. I wasn't after a flower look, and that's what it ended up because I didn't shrink down the design enough. The digital download recommended 5" - 9", and I made it 4.5" when it really should have been 3" or even less to get the modern textured look. Quilt and learn!
My customer wanted a really thick cotton batting, and Quilters Dream Supreme Loft was the thickest I could find. It is amazing stuff friends! It is so thick that I thought it was doubled over on itself, but it wasn't! It costs nearly double what the standard cotton Hobbs Heirloom batting costs, so I won't be using it on a regular basis, but it now rivals wool batting for what I put in quilts for my family. It's just that good.
Quilt Stats:
Pattern: Popsicle Summer.
Size: 49" x 69"
Fabric: Citrus by Another Point of View for Windham
Quilting: Bread Basket on Gratitude.
Batting: Quilter's Dream Supreme Loft 100% cotton
Backing: Citrus by Another Point of View for Windham

What fun colors!! Love it.
I love the layout of the Popsicle Summer quilt. The bright colors stand out just enough from the low volume hues.
Your quilting looks good and so does the quilt! I can't see the linkup so I don't know if it's just my computer or it's not working.
I love it!! It's so bright and cheery. Great finish.
This is one darling of a quilt. Happy and colorful, it's just right. (and sold!)
