Queen Size Flying Geese Quilt | Finished or Not Friday Linky Party!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My finish is a queen size Giant Flying Geese quilt in modern abstract fabrics.  It's wild and crazy and sure has the WOW factor!

My design wall isn't big enough to hold a queen, so I didn't really get to see it before it was all together.  It was okay then, but the quilting and binding really worked their magic and brought it to life.  It's so fun to see it in there lying on my bed, awaiting more pictures before I list it for sale!

The HSTs were cut with my 8" Accuquilt die.  Super fast, easy, and accurate!  There is a reason it's called an ACCUquilt!

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:  Giant Flying Geese, inspired by this quilt
Size:  94" x 93"
Fabric:  Various prints from Joel Dewberry, Anna Maria Horner, and Joel Dewberry
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 100% cotton
Quilting:  Undulating Lines on Gratitude.
Backing:  A print by Valori Wells

I left a comment on Shannon's blog for the wild geese quilt she just made and was admiring it and mentioned that I think I could make one with my dies and sure enough your post today on your wild geese quilt confirmed this. I am so going to make one now, the toughest decision is which stash of fabric I'm going to use.

Love your quilt! I remember this Joel Dewberry line. Love the prints in this collection.

That's a very pretty flying geese quilt, and those large design fabrics work great for it! I love it!

I love your flying geese quilt...great colors...I have the accuquilt and tons of dies...and never ever use it. Which die did you use...looks like fun.

I love both of the flying geese quilts. I've been so drawn to flying geese, and next month's block a day calendar features lots and lots of flying geese... I think you're tempting me to get heavily into triangles!
