2018 Planning Party

  • My biggest change for 2018 is that I will no longer be making custom quilts.
  • Stash usage ... for real this time ... aiming to clear out fabric and then move toward a rainbow of blender fabrics, buying only for background and backings.  Having a subscription to FQS's Sew Sampler Boxes is a real treat every month when the mystery box arrives and really helps keep spending in check!
  • Making more quilts from my Pinterest boards.
  • Moving to self-hosted wordpress blog with storefront (2018-2019 project).
  • Pattern designing for my own line as well as Craftsy.
  • Exploring having paper patterns printed.
  • Making quilts for blog hops - I'd love to participate in your book releases.
  • Fat Quarter Shop Quilt Alongs.
  • Finished or Not Friday Linky Parties will continue.
  • Hosting 2018 Quilt Along Linky.  Check it out!
  • Keeping track of everything in my 2018 Quilter's Planner.  I'm excited to keep track of my many projects and deadlines on paper instead of just in my head.
  • And more!

2018 Planning Party

If you want your quilt featured here next week, be sure to put a link back to this post in your post or sidebar, or tag @busyhandsquilts on Instagram, AND link directly to your blog post so I don't have to hunt it down.

Craftsy's Winter Clearance Sale is in full swing!  Save up to 70% off kits and supplies while supplies last.  I've been watching, and some of my favorites are selling out.  Since it's still 2017, I can buy more fabric, right?!?

I'm having a Year-End Sale in my pattern shop!  Stock up with patterns for your winter sewing today!

It's your turn to share your finish {or not}!  What's welcome at this party?
  • Any in-progress or finished project made with fabric, yarn, or thread.
  • Projects from this week only.
  • ♥ ♥ PLEASE!  Link to the actual blog post, not your home page.
