On a Whim Throw Quilt!

Today is another Secret Sauce Sewing reveal!  Meet On A Whim, a quilt I designed for Bluprint in 2019.  This is the quilt I made to test the quilt pattern, and it's made with Miss Kate by Bonnie and Camille.  100% of the fabric came from my stash!  :) 

On A Whim is a fun half-square triangle quilt pattern that comes together quickly with the use of precut 5" squares.

For the quilting, I used Belly Bop, a rounded square design that adds so much texture.

Size:  62" x 62"

Fabric:  Miss Kate by Bonnie and Camille for the quilt top, backing, and binding, with Kona Snow

Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton poly

Quilting:  Belly Bop on Gratitude, my Handi Quilter Fusion with ProStitcher

Bluprint has kitted On A Whim in a retro 60's collection called Mini Fab!  Included in the quilt kit is everything for the quilt top and binding.  It's a precut 5" square pattern, so it goes together very quickly.
