Maribelle has been kitted by Connecting Threads in Wild Crimson in the Throw size! I love the subtly muted blues, reds, and tans in this collection paired with the bold blue dot print. Did ya see the dots? When I place fabrics in designs for Connecting Threads, I try to use the fabrics that read as a solid but have a bit of a design in them for texture, like this blue fabric with tiny cream, tan, and red dots.

Maribelle is a layer cake friendly quilt pattern with two accents. It's a great design for fabrics you love too much to cut into small pieces.

Such a pretty quilt in any color combination. Once I am back on track, I plan to make one with red, white, blue, and gold scraps. =)
