My Farmhouse Quilt Pattern

My Farmhouse includes three sizes - Throw, Twin XL, and Queen - because that's all that worked out mathematically.  I would have loved to have included the Baby and King sizes, but it just wasn't possible.

This is a jelly roll friendly quilt pattern for easy fabric selection.  Even the lighter fabrics in the jelly roll work against a light background; just place them in the middle of the strip sets so they are surrounded by darker prints.  I like to include the light prints in this manner because they tend to add a sparkle to the pattern that isn't achieved with all dark fabrics on a light background.

My Farmhouse is a strip pieced quilt pattern for a quick and easy finish.  You won't be sewing together individual squares, no way, no how!!  For most of us, life is too busy to take that long to piece a quilt top.  Strip piecing is the answer to sewing faster and making more quilts!  ♥

The Busy Hands Quilts' Hand Picked pattern is featured above, with a dark background, along with My Farmhouse.  Both quilts are made in the General Store fabric collection by Connecting Threads.  The Hand Picked quilt kit in the Throw size is available right here.
