With the Fourth of July right around the corner, I figured now would be the perfect time to introduce my newest quilt design called Stars and Stripes! Stars and Stripes is a quick and easy design that you'll whip up in no time! This pattern was inspired by Picket Fence, a long-time favorite quilt pattern of mine.
Stars and Stripes includes 8 sizes, and you can use fat quarters for the scrappy star layout. This quilt has identical stars with every star made from the same two fabrics, and the pieced stripe blocks made from jelly roll strips.

Shoot for the Stars and Stripes!
The Stars and Stripes quilt pattern combines sparkling stars with pieced stripe blocks to make a truly show-stopping quilt! I love creating quilt patterns with stars scattered neatly across the quilt top like this design does. It makes the quilt stand out!
There are two star options with this bright and sparkly design - you can either make scrappy stars with fat quarters or make identical stars made from yardage of two prints with jelly roll strips for the pieced blocks. Either option works great! This quilt uses the identical stars layout.
8 Sizes Included
I wanted to give you all the possible size options so that you can create the Stars and Stripes quilt you want. This pattern includes 8 sizes - Wall, Lap, Throw, Large Throw, Twin, Square Queen, Rectangle Queen, and King. All quilt sizes preserve the design of the pieced blocks encircling the stars.

Red, White, and WOW Fabrics
For this quilt, the red and blue on white is Picadilly by Amanda Castor of Material Girl Quilts for Riley Blake Designs on Kona Cotton White background. This is the identical stars layout made with yardage of two fabrics, along with strips for the stripe blocks. The backing and binding fabric is red dots on navy from the Picadilly collection.
Stars and Stripes would make a beautiful quilt for the Fourth of July, or even for Quilt of Valor - a program that's dedicated to making quilts for veterans! So let your spirit shine with the Stars and Stripes quilt pattern!
