Urban Neighborhood Sew Along {Block Layout}

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

My Urban Neighborhood Sew Along blocks are finished!  I made extra blocks, planning on making a twin rather than a lap quilt but have decided to make two quilts by adding hourglass blocks to the second quilt.  Below are the blocks I plan to make into a baby quilt.  To me the layout lacks organization, but it still definitely has sweet charm ... so ...

... I'm adding hourglass blocks to the twin size, and I ♥ this layout!  Thanks to EQ7 I can show you just what I have in mind {though the fabrics are a different collection}.  I don't have enough of one fabric from the collection {Hill Farm by Lecein} to make all of the hourglass blocks the same, so I chose one print in all four colorways for those blocks.  Hopefully it looks as good as I envision it!  The hourglass blocks are all made and just need a quick trim to be ready for quilt top assembly.

Isn't it funny how the whole look can completely change with an addition of a new block. whilst I like the top image the bottom one really sings!
