King-Size Sparkle Plenty Quilt in Dogwood Trail {Progress #1}

My next quilt is a king-sized Sparkle Plenty quilt using the Dogwood Trail collection from 2012.  I made a mock-up of the quilt using similar fabrics, and I love it!

I made a queen-sized Sparkle Plenty quilt in 2012, and this quilt is by far the most viewed quilt on my blog with over three times the views of the second most viewed quilt.

Sentimental Studio has released a second line of Dogwood Trail which is currently on sale at Craftsy.  The fabric designs in the two collections are very similar, but the new one has yellow, gray, rose, and aqua colorways added to the pink, blue, and green in the first version of Dogwood Trail.

I use my Accuquilt Go! to cut fabric at every opportunity, so I'm tickled that I was able to use the 6" finished half-square triangle die.  I also used my 6.5" strip die to cut the 6.5" white squares.  You can save up to 15% off two dies at Accuquilt through the end of the month.

Love the dogwood trail and it looks great in the Sparkle Plenty. I have been trying to get that pattern for awhile it would look great with a sunflower line that I have been wanting to do something with
