Today I'm sharing a new quilt pattern with you called Prism - a quick and easy quilt pattern.
All the Sizes!
Prism includes all of the sizes - 5 - Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King - for a true value.
I've included tips for directional prints so they all end up facing the same direction, since the quilt is constructed in quadrants.
Those Beautiful Fabrics!
This quilt is the Throw size, made with Home Sweet Holidays by Deb Strain for Moda Fabrics. You'll find the fabrics right here, here, and here.
Home Sweet Holidays is a lovely mix of snowflakes, birds, trucks, Christmas stockings, buffalo checks, and tone-on-tone prints in black, red, gray, evergreen, and cream. While it is a holiday collection, it isn't overtly Christmas in nature and is a beautiful reflection of the Winter season.
As far as fabric selection, other than placing bold fabrics in the main diagonal chain across the quilt, I'm thinking that anything goes as long as the fabrics play well together.
Longarm Quilting
This Prism Throw quilt has been quilted with Diagonal Bias Plaid in gray thread on my HandiQuilter Fusion with ProStitcher. This design adds a delightful modern texture to the quilt.
This Quilt Is For Sale!
This beautiful Prism quilt is for sale in my shop. It's a one-of-a-kind quilt that you won't find anywhere else, nor will I be making it again. Click here to see the quilt in my shop.
