Good Morning Throw Quilt - the Americana One!

Today is a Good Morning!  This is a brand-new quilt pattern that includes all the sizes, is strip pieced, and precut friendly!  Yay!

If you're looking for a quick and easy quilt pattern with visual pop, this is it!  The Americana version looks like a flag waving in the wind.

The Good Morning quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.

Quick - Easy - Fun!

The Good Morning quilt pattern is fun and quick to make.  Ask me how I know!  Yep, I ended up making four of them because they are so easy, and I kept thinking of color schemes that would look great.  I finally had to tell myself to STOP, because I could have just kept right on dreaming and scheming and making.  Seriously!

You know how much I love strip piecing while quilting; it speeds up the process so much.  This quilt pattern includes strip piecing.  There aren't any seams to match either - another bonus to help make the quilt go together so quickly.

This is a great newbie beginner quilt because there aren't any seams to match.  If you have a quilt or two under your belt, this would be a great pattern to try next.

Red, White and Blue!

This Americana version is made from scraps leftover from my Star Spangled quilt, check it out right here.  Lots of navy and red prints with white on them, on a Kona Nautical background, representing many designers and fabric companies.  Scrappy indeed!

A bundle of these fabrics is available on Etsy right here.

The backing is an indigo dot fabric by Riley Blake, and the binding is Kona Solids Nautical.

Longarm Quilting

The waving flag and stars longarm quilting design is Americana 2018, completed on my HandiQuilter Fusion with Pro-Stitcher in navy thread.

Precuts or Yardage Options

The Good Morning quilt pattern includes two fabric options - jelly roll strips for a scrappy look, as this quilt is; or yardage of five fabrics.

The Good Morning quilt pattern also looks great as an ombre design, with five hues in a single colorway.  I have one of those to show you in a different post.

The five fabrics don't have to be the same colorway either.  Pink, peach, yellow with a pop of apple green look great mocked up together.  A rainbow design would also be simple to make.

The Good Morning quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.

Bought it the first day! This is the first colorway I'll make, probably in the new year, for American Hero Quilts. I'm so glad your pattern shop isn't on Etsy. I closed my account because of all this mess with Plaid and their poor security reputation. I don't think I yet own ALL of your patterns, but I literally own dozens, and hope to live long enough to make them all! LOL
