Welcome to Finished or Not Friday and Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday! where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My Finishes this week are three quilts plus a Not Finished quilt top in Jelly Roll Waves, my newest pattern! I loved making this quilt so much that I couldn't stop and just kept making them! MAKERS GONNA MAKE!!
Jelly Roll Waves includes instructions for 6 sizes from baby to king, something I strive for in all of my patterns. Jelly rolls can be used for traditional piecing, and strip piecing instructions use fat quarters. Yes, another pattern with both traditional and strip piecing instructions included!!! I usually prefer strip piecing, but I found this quilt was just so fun to piece individually.
It's your turn to share your finish {or not}! What's welcome at this party?
My Finishes this week are three quilts plus a Not Finished quilt top in Jelly Roll Waves, my newest pattern! I loved making this quilt so much that I couldn't stop and just kept making them! MAKERS GONNA MAKE!!
The blocks can be laid out in vertical waves or horizontal waves, and the pattern includes those directions, too!!
The pattern also gives guidance in creating rows in different colors like this quilt below. This is made with an Alison Glass jelly roll, and I'm entering this quilt in the Alison Glass Challenge Linkup.
Also included in the pattern are details on how to make an ombre quilt. Have you ever looked at an ombre jelly roll and wondered how ever would you cut it so the lights and darks end up where you want them? I've included cutting instructions on how to cut an ombre jelly roll so it looks as beautiful as this one!
I made the blue version to test the strip piecing instructions. This one is awaiting quilting.
Each quilt will be featured in a future post, giving more details about each one.
The most viewed link from last week was this beautiful 9-patch by Quilting Gail!

What a fun pattern. I think the ombré one is my favorite. I really like the wavy lines you quilted them with.
What a lovely and very versatile pattern Myra. I think you have only given a flavour of the different looks that can be achieved by varying the colours. Definitely one for my wish list.
Your quilts are gorgeous!
The jelly roll quilts are all nice. They look cuddly. I've never made a jelly roll quilt other than the normal pattern. Guess it's time to break out of my rut. villacrestfarm@gmail.com
Pretty spectacular! What a great way to use up some jellies!

I just love the new design. So many colors and ways to do it. Congrats on your creative design.
You must have swallowed the energizer bunny! The ombre quilt is my favorite!
Wow...look at all the different versions. The fabric selections definitely give each one their own personal look. Great job on the pattern.
Such a fun pattern!! I really like that blue one! Thank you for hosting TGIFF this week! :-)
Very nice...Jelly roll wave is exceptional...all your quilts are great...good job!
Thank you so much for linking up with the #QuiltingJetgirlAGChallenge. I love that the jelly roll was able to be broken down into the color variation / stripes you achieved. :) Congratulations on the new pattern release!
I love the movement in your pattern and especially love it with the ombre fabric and wavy quilting. Thank you for hosting TGIFF!
Wow to all those jellyroll quilts! I love them all.
Absolutely LOVE these quilts! The Allison Glass is my favorite, there is just something about her fabrics that is so addicting! lol
Can't wait to get my hands on this pattern, it looks like it would be relatively quick and easy to make!!!
