Good Vibes Batik Fabrics by Robert Kaufman
The Good Vibes fabric collection includes a variety of colors, and I picked out the blues to create this Sweet Comfort quilt. The vivid batik fabrics are so wonderful to work with. The backing is also made from a fabric from the collection. The deep blue background and binding fabric is a Quilter's Linen, also by Robert Kaufman. Would you believe that this quilt is made with four fabrics? Yes, just four! This simplifies fabric selection greatly - just choose four hues of your favorite colorway from very light to deep or bold, and you're all set!
Sweet Comfort Quilt Sizes
The Sweet Comfort quilt pattern includes 4 sizes.
- Throw
- Twin
- Queen
- King
This quilt is the Throw size which measures a generous 55" x 74".
The design goes together very simply and is much less complicated than it looks.
Longarm Quilting
Sweet Comfort is quilted with a digital design called Tempest in bright blue thread on my Handi Quilter Fusion with ProStitcher. The design creates waves of fresh water across the beautiful blue quilt.

What a lovely quilt. This one would have gone to my list, but this year I've decided to finish some of my UFOs. I'll keep it in my head for later.
