Reminder - July's $6 Pattern of the Month Ends Tomorrow - Get Nautical News!

This is a last-minute reminder that July's $6 Pattern of the Month is Nautical News!  The sale ends when the clock strikes midnight on Friday, July 31st.  

This #quiltpattern includes 6 sizes - Baby, Lap, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King - and is layer cake friendly for a quick finish.  I've since learned to not name quilts by their fabric collection as it can limit how people see the quilt.  It looks great in many fabric collections, including solids and scraps.

The rainbow Nautical News quilt above was made from my scrap bins.  It includes 24 different Kona cottons.

The twin size Nautical News quilt above was made by my niece when she was 12.  It's made with a layer cake of On Deck by Bluprint.

June $6 Pattern of the Month | Pixelation!

June's $6 Pattern of the Month is Pixelation!

This easy strip-pieced quilt pattern looks amazing in the rainbow.  You'll need nine colors in all.  These two rainbow quilts are made with Moda Grunge and have different colors at the top and bottom.

This Sunrise version is made with varying shades from pale yellow to deep red.  It is even more stunning in person, and the customer who purchased it agreed said this as well.

I've also made a black and white version, and while it doesn't photograph the best, it is also stunning in person.  I'd love to have this back and take pictures with my new iPhone, but this one sold quickly in my quilt shop.
