I am so happy to share the Sweet Caroline II quilt pattern with you!  Sweet Caroline II has been kitted by Connecting Threads in their Basics fabric collection.

Sweet Caroline II is a charming quilt pattern that includes 5 sizes - Lap, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  Sweet Caroline II uses 5 fabrics and is suitable for intermediate beginners and up!

This quilt kit includes the pattern plus all the fabric you will need for the quilt top and binding.  Backing fabric and batting are not included.  The finished size measures approximately 51" x 65".

In this design, checkerboard blocks are framed by layers of strips that form a bold lattice pattern, giving the Sweet Caroline quilt a modern feel in a lovely palette of melon and blue.  This quilt looks perfect with any style of modern decor!

Sweet Caroline II Quilt Pattern - Gray and Yellow One in Twin Size!

Today I'm sharing an oh-so-sweet Sweet Caroline II quilt in modern gray and yellow!  

The Sweet Caroline II quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.

So Many Sizes!

Sweet Caroline II includes 4 sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  My patterns include as many sizes as possible.  I do love spoiling you!  

This quilt is the Twin size.

Oh Those Fabrics!

This Sweet Caroline II quilt is made with just five fabrics.  Three yellows (all from an older V and Co fabric collection), white, and a mottled gray.  The pattern tells you where to place the fabrics so the yellows end up in the middle of the patchwork blocks.

It's Entirely Strip Pieced - Of Course!

A trademark feature in my patterns is strip piecing whenever possible.  Life is about making more quilts, so let's make them quicker!  You will not be sewing individual squares together; you'll be sewing strip sets, sub-cutting them, and then sewing them together to make blocks.  It's oh-so-fun and quick!

Longarm Quilting

The quilting design is Woven Wind, a digital design, quilted on my Handi Quilter Fusion with ProStitcher in gray thread.  I love the old-fashioned look of this design that takes old-fashioned, modern quilts to a whole 'nother level!  Is that an oxymoron?

This quilt top was made by Kare and quilted and bound by me.

Sweet Caroline and Sweet Caroline II

You may have noticed that I also have a Sweet Caroline quilt pattern, in addition to Sweet Caroline II. Hmm, why is that?  I'm glad you asked!  Sweet Caroline is made with a variety of medium and dark prints, and Sweet Caroline II is made with just five fabrics.  The first pattern didn't make sense when using only five fabrics, so a new pattern had to be written for it to make sense.

Sweet Caroline II Quilt Pattern!

Sweet Caroline II is patchwork design that goes together quickly and easily with strip piecing!  

Sweet Caroline II quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts pattern shop.

This is a quick and easy quilt design made with 5 fabrics.  In the gray and yellow version, there are 3 yellow prints, white, and a mottled gray.

Sweet Caroline II is a great place to use Moda Grunge; this is Grunge in deep red, black, 2 grays, and white.

Once again, Grunge for the win!  This is 4 purples and white.

SWEET CAROLINE II IN WILD CRIMSON

Sweet Caroline II has been kitted in the King size by Connecting Threads in their Wild Crimson fabric collection.  It's a terrific mix of bold blues and red with a splash of tan.  Click here to read more.

Counting down!  This is quilt 2 of 10 designs of mine found in the current Connecting Threads catalog.

Meet Sweet Caroline II in Wild Crimson at Connecting Threads.  Don'tcha love that blue background?  It makes my heart sing!

Sweet Caroline II is a strip pieced quilt pattern (of course!) that includes Lap, Throw, Queen, and King sizes.  I couldn't get an appropriate sized Twin, so that's not included in the pattern.

This quilt is made with 5 fabrics, and the pattern tells you exactly where they are used to make fabric selection easier.  In this quilt, three of the fabrics are the same pattern but in different colors - one of the blues, the red, and the tan.
